5-Minute Makeup Routine for Busy Mornings

We all have those mornings when time just isn’t on our side, you’ve hit snooze one too many times, the coffee’s barely brewed, and you need to look put-together fast.

The good news? You can still create a natural, radiant look in just a few minutes. The key is to focus on the three most important areas: skin, eyes, and cheeks, with a quick touch on the lips to finish.

1. Start With Glowing Skin

Your skin is the base of your look, so it’s worth taking a few seconds to perfect it.
Apply a lightweight tinted moisturiser or BB cream to even your complexion, and dab a little concealer where you need it, under the eyes, around the nose, or on any blemishes.

Keep things light and natural. A quick dusting of translucent powder will stop any shine while still letting your skin glow through.

2. Brighten and Define the Eyes

Even when you’re tired, your eyes can make you look instantly refreshed.
Curl your lashes and sweep on one or two coats of mascara to open them up. If you’ve got an extra 30 seconds, blend a soft neutral eyeshadow shade across your lids for definition.

A light brow fill makes a huge difference too, it frames your face and completes your look.

3. Add a Natural Flush

Blusher or bronzer brings life and warmth to your complexion.
A cream blush is perfect when you’re short on time, simply tap it onto the apples of your cheeks and blend it out with your fingers. A sweep of bronzer works beautifully too, especially along the cheekbones and temples.

This step is small but powerful, it ties the whole look together.

4. Finish With a Hint of Lip Colour

You don’t need a bold lip for everyday makeup. A tinted lip balm or sheer gloss gives just the right amount of colour and keeps your lips feeling soft and hydrated.

Go for a soft pink, nude, or peach shade to complement your natural tones.
